Facsimile edition of Bidloo's noted atlas of human anatomy first published in Amsterdam in 1685. Large 4to (11"x16"), bound in burgundy leatherette, marbled end-papers, all edges gilt. No. 411 of 2000 copies printed. A bit of rubbing at top and bottom of spine, otherwise fine. The atlas is illustrated with 105 plates by Gerard de Lairesse, showing the human figure both in living attitudes and as dissected cadavers.
