Fourteen illustrations in black and white and at center a full color silk-screen print of a sandpainting of the brown Gila monsters and horned toads. Collection of Navajo cultural beliefs by the Newcombs, who operated a trading post on the reservation. A fine, virtually pristine copy in very good d/w, very lightly toned with edgewear at top. Prior owner’s bookplate inside front panel.
