"Guillotine", "The Earring", "If the Dead Could Talk", "Fire Escape", "Fountain Pen", "You Take Ballistics", and "Funeral" Several were the bases for successful film noir productions. Near fine in fair d/w. The book itself is very good-near fine: a clean, square copy with a hint of wear to spine ends and browning to end papers. The dustjacket is not price-clipped. No major tears but numerous small nicks along top and bottom edges; spotting on both panels, foxing inside.
