Germany Philatelic Society, Inc. No.8. 80 pages. 1st ed., 8vo, Blue printed card covers, glossy pages. Illustrated. Though not stated, our understanding is that only 500 copies were printed. Co-written by Deighton under his real name of Cyril Deighton. This is a study of the Graf Zeppelin’s flight to Egypt and the postage stamps and cancellations issued on the trip. Nicely printed and illustrated with b/w half-tone photos. An interesting departure from this best selling author of spy novels [The Ipcress File; Funeral in Berlin]. A fine, pristine copy, bearing Deighton’s signature on the title page.
Title: The Egypt Flight L.Z. 127- Graf Zeppelin (A Philatelic Handbook) -signed by Len Deighton.
