Small 4to, 35 numbered pages; Two tipped-in color serigraphs: 'Fulfillment 1920' and 'Figure of the Oriental Theatre', photograph of Klee by Josef Albers, and 65 b/w plates [complete]. Spiral plastic comb binding. Front cover partially detached but intact; covers stained and chipped., large dampstain on rear cover but not affecting text block. Interior in nice condition. Ex-libris the Stendahl Art Gallery, Los Angeles. This volume was a well-used reference copy in the gallery’s reference library, hence the rough condition. Until its recent closure, the Stendahl Gallery was one of America's oldest continuously operating private art galleries. Art from the Stendahl collections found a home in The Louvre and many other major institutions throughout the world. Upon closing the gallery, the family donated a significant collection of photographs and documentation to the Getty Research Institute.
