10" x 13", circa 125 pp., exclusive of advertisements, spine chipped and partially detached at rear; covers are worn on all edges with numerous tears on back foredge; text is very good -- clean and tight with no tears. Contributions by le Corbusier, Brancusi, Picasso, Raynal, Calder, Miro, and others. Ex-libris the Stendahl Art Gallery, Los Angeles. This volume was a well-used reference copy in the gallery’s reference library, hence the rough condition. Until its recent closure, the Stendahl Gallery was one of America's oldest continuously operating private art galleries. Art from the Stendahl collections found a home in The Louvre and many other major institutions throughout the world. Upon closing the gallery, the family donated a significant collection of photographs and documentation to the Getty Research Institute.
