Original World War 2 mimeographed military orders signed in by Capt. Ronald Reagan - 5 leaves, 8-1/2x11, dated February-April 1945. Reagan served in the 18th Army Air Force Base Unit (the Motion Picture Unit) as Captain and Adjutant. One of his duties was to sign the unit's official orders. These five sheets are all related to duty assignments given to Hollywood producer/director Jack J. Bernhard, another member of the Motion Picture Unit. One sheet is very good - brown-toned with a 3/4" closed tear at left. The other four are in fine condition. All sheets are top-hole punched. NOTE: These are NOT original signatures; Reagan's signature is in the mimeographed print. While not wet-ink signatures, these relics of Reagan's army period are unusual and scarce.
