Pristine in the original dustwrapper with colour illustration of Philip de Làszlò's 1933 portrait of the princess (now Queen Elizabeth II) aged seven. D/w has light surface wear, minimal soiling and a few edge nicks..

The booksellers are not identified. 24 pp., 16mo, woven paper wrappers, sewn. Pictorial title page. Pages are very clean with no foxing; the covers appear to be a rebinding. Undated but circa 1820..

Fine copy in a very good dust jacket with a 1/2" closed tear at top of back cover, a few small fingerprint smudges on back cover, and a light 1/8"x3/4" stain on the spine..

London: Lane Publications, Undated, but circa 1932. Seven pop-ups which appear to be complete, although the glue has come loose from one page and it needs repair. In addition to the pop-ups, there is a full-color frontispiece and black and white illustrations throughout. Generally clean inside, but the b/w illustrations on five pages have been partially colored in crayon (very neatly so). The covers are worn and rubbed along all edges, with some age-toning, but are sound and tight. Pop-up illustrations are for the following stories: Inside cover, A visit from Santa; Dragon with the Spike on His Nose; A Ride in a Gondola; Out in the Desert (needs repair); Two Dogs; And the Gollywog sat down; At the Show.

Akron: Saalfield, 1907. 12mo (5 x 6 1/2"), cloth, some fraying and soil, 12p. including covers, One of the volumes in Saalfield’s series of ‘muslin books’. VG. Illustrated in color on every page based in part be her drawings from the Almanacks. This copy differs from all other copies we have seen; the front cover is white, not red. Unknown if this is a variant edition or a later printing - in all other respects it is the same as other copies we have seen. The back cover is red and blue, as usual. Front cover soiled with loose threads at top and bottom edges. Back cover lightly soiled at top of spine edge with 1” fray on spine. Interior has some yellowing and light dam staingin but over all quite clean..

Undated but generally presumed to be c. 1925. Publisher’s number ‘950’ at base of final fold. Original silk ties are present as is the scarce publisher’s box. The tales are: The Goose Girl. Red Riding Hood. The Beautiful Princess. Beauty and the Beast. The Sleeping Beauty. The Magic Mirror. Cinderella. Snow-White and Rose-Red. Very good-near fine. All pages are very clean, bright & tight. No marks or inscriptions. Paper cracked at several of the inner fold hinges but no tears, chips, or markings. Exterior is fine. The silk ties are fully intact and in great shape. The box is very good-near fine. Some very light discoloration but no soiling; small chip at top upper left and bottom front corner; remnant of small gummed label on bottom. No cracks or breaks. We have seen several copies of this scarce juvenile and this is the best we have seen by far..
